Do We?

Do We?:According to Rumsfeld, "Americans accept the sacrifices." (soldier's deaths) sacrifice=Forfeiture of something highly valued for the sake of one considered to have a greater value or claim. I realize the valueof the Iraq mission and the claim of oil. I do not accept the sacrifices. I understand the sacrifices but will never accept them as nobody should. I have to ask why hasn't one road been built in Afganistan? Why havn't the savages that murder US Soldiers not built a hospital? Why with all our knowledge and power can't we feed the Iraqi people or establish simple plumbing. Accept ...no. Patient... for now.Patti Patton-Bader06-21-03Please send a soldier a smile today.A Soldier's Blogbrandonblog@aol.com

Hollywood Cares

Hollywood Cares: I would like to thank from the bottom of my heart Gary Sinese, Kid Rock, and John & Rebbecca Stamos for going to Iraq and giving our soldiers a touch of home. Just reading that story gave me a sense of well being so I know how much it meant to those troops. One can only hope Sean Penn takes note. Four more soldiers have died this week.
